Search Terms Toolkit helps users collect and organize selected text on webpages. It also provides optional Google Ads tools for working with search terms and negative keywords.
The extension processes only the text that a user selects, clicks, or adds while using its features. It also stores the extension’s settings and the two text lists locally in the browser using Chrome storage.
The extension may write a user-requested list to the device clipboard when the user chooses Copy or starts the Google Ads negative-keyword workflow. It does not read clipboard contents.
This data is used only to provide the extension’s visible features: collecting text, maintaining lists, highlighting already-added text, copying, exporting, and, on Google Ads, preparing negative keywords.
Search Terms Toolkit does not send, sell, transfer, or share this data with the developer or any third party. It does not use analytics, advertising, tracking, remote code, or external network services. The data remains on the user’s device unless the user independently pastes or exports it.
Keyword lists and settings remain in Chrome’s local extension storage until the user clears them, resets the browser’s extension data, or uninstalls the extension. Users can clear the lists from the extension interface at any time.
The use of information received from Chrome permissions complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
